I have tried many times to capture the moon and stars, and always seem to fail miserably. That is until I invested in a new low aperture lens and captured the Northern lights in Iceland and a wondrous sky in in Australia. Capturing the moon however is a different story, especially when it is high in the sky. I really need a telescopic with the capacity of my low aperture lens, but just don’t have the money.
So the Lunar Eclipse was due last night, and having missed the moons rise in the early evening I was determined to at least see this amazing event. So I got up at 1.30 am last night to see the moon clearly shining – but nothing had happened – I was disappointed to say the least.
