What the Hell’s a Pinnacle?

Before travelling to Western Australia, I asked myself this on numerous occasions? Ha – don’t get me wrong I didn’t ask myself it daily… just when I heard of the location in the Nambung desert just north of Perth I was intrigued…

So we made sure we visited, and once again we weren’t disappointed…

So what is a Pinnacle?, well a Pinnacle is a limestone pillar rising from the sands of a beautiful yellow desert… What was incredible was that there was hundreds if not thousands all in one location. Its like something out of a movie, just so unique. The contrast in shape and colours, the pure heat from the blazing sun and the eerie silence of this place at dawn was a Wandering Memory not to be missed..
