I was always the odds on favourite to leave the UK and permanently live abroad, and in all honesty I have left a number of times. However, I have always returned, even from the wonders of Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Africa.
Many people are perplexed and ask why?
The answer is simple – it is the local beauty of home that keeps me grounded, keeps me honest and keep me fuelled with wanderlust.
There is something about those rolling green hills, fields and quaint streams that is just quintessentially English – I am truly inspired by the local beauty that surrounds me on a daily basis.
This post is in response to the daily post’s photo challenge of Local.
