Faith that unity will follow disbelief!

As part of an extensive travelling community, we are huge advocates of cultural understanding, working together and a united world.

As millions of people worldwide woke up today to the news that a global superpower had elected a businessman & reality star and as their next President, there is a sense of anxiety, fear and disbelief in the air. This is fuelled by allegations of racism, bigotry, sexism and xenophobia against the now President elect, Donald Trump. These allegations, however do not seem to have affected the businessman’s appeal to the majority of Americans.

The decision is not something we agree with and we emphasise with the disbelief of our home nation’s decisions; most recently with Brexit.

What’s done is done! We must accept the disbelief that Donald Trump will be the next President of the United States of America. We must have faith that his actions will not align with his past and some of the outlandish statements he has made while campaigning. we need to have faith that he will surprise us all.

This faith can be started with his acceptance speech referring to Unity!

Now it is time for America to bind the wounds of division, have to get together.

To all Republicans and Democrats and independents across this nation, I say it is time for us to come together as one united people. It is time. I pledge to every citizen of our land that I will be President for all of Americans, and this is so important to me.

These are powerful words and ones we need to apply not on a country level but a worldwide level. We need to unite and work together to heal the worlds divisions.

  • We need to understand and accept one another’s beliefs.
  • We need to unify and make sure that the sins of old are never to be repeated!
  • We need to stand up as a worldwide community together
  • We need to lead by example…

Hopefully Donald Trump will surprise us all!
